Main House:
Built
in on the riverbank in 1793, the main house at Kiviranta
is one of the oldest buildings in the Satakunta area.
The listed building retains its original fireplaces
and other features - an historic manor house that exudes
character.
The
Kiviranta main house has a big kitchen and a large cold
store, and can seat 130 diners comfortably. It is also
possible to use the building for smaller functions or
meetings, as it is made up of many smaller areas that
can be closed off or opened up as necessary.
Schoolhouse:
Originally
built as an agricultural school, this 'side building'
is actually larger than the main house. With its impressive
hall and original fireplaces, it is a fine example of
late nineteenth century Finnish architecture.
The
large hall is among the most beautiful in the Satakunta
area. Its impressive acoustic characteristics make it
a perfect space for weddings, dances, concerts and other
performances.
